The school year has started out with lots of good things happening at Bushland ISD. Bushland ISD Board of Trustees would like to highlight some of those accomplishments. Bushland ISD received an “A” in the 2019 State A-F Accountability Ratings. This is the second straight year that Bushland ISD has received an “A” for state accountability. The Board of Trustees also approved a salary increase for all Bushland ISD employees of 3% for administrators/directors; 4% for teachers, librarians, and counselors; and 5% for auxiliary staff. The Bushland ISD Board of Trustees also voted unanimously to decrease the tax rate from $1.23371 to $1.16371. The raises and tax cut was accomplished while approving a balanced budget for the 2019-2020 school year. We are so proud of the students and staff of Bushland ISD for representing our community in such an outstanding way.
